(225WObus) Willowsia buski (Lubbock, 1869)

Willowsia buski is a moderately common species covered in triangular scales (Fig. 1). The body is a uniform brownish-violet colour. Willowsia buski is resistant to desiccation and is found under bark, on walls, in glasshouses and in buildings. Unfortunately, the only specimen in the NHML slide collection is in very poor condition although the uniform pigmentation is obvious.
